Samsung, one of the world's leading electronics and smartphone manufacturers, is facing many problems. Thousands of workers at the South Korean company are currently on strike. This strike has been going on since yesterday Monday. This is the first time in the 55-year history of Samsung Electronics that Samsung workers have called such a large-scale strike. News ABP.

This is the biggest strike in the history of 55 years

Samsung workers went on strike for various demands. Earlier in June also, Samsung workers had called a strike for 1 day. And since they did not agree to their demands, this matter took a bigger shape. As a result, the workers participated in the strike again. This time the workers joined the 3-day strike. It is seen as the biggest strike in Samsung's 55-year history. According to a Bloomberg report, the strike by workers could affect Samsung's semiconductor chip production process. According to this report, Samsung employees may disrupt the production process of the company's most advanced chips due to the strike.

Chip production will be disrupted

The union aims to gather 5,000 people outside Samsung's semiconductor plant in the Hwaseong region. This goal is complete. It is not yet known how many workers are going to leave the job. And due to this three-day strike, the chip production may suffer greatly.

What are Samsung employees angry about?

Samsung workers are mainly angry about their pay and holidays. More than 28,000 member workers of Samsung's National Trade Union said that despite many discussions on the pay scale, no solution has been found. Last year the employees of the chip unit were not given bonus after showing loss in the business. As a result, this is the root cause of anger.
